A CHANCE TO IMPROVE

It is difficult to talk about my experience learning English in the university. Because it has been a good chance to practice and improve the language but, the time and the different demand of other subjects in each career cause that this experience becomes hard to achieve its objectives.

Anyway, the use of blogs has been a good tool to practice writing and it has help me with my speaking skills. The posts and the videos has been useful for this experience. Although I know that my English skills will improve according to how much time I dedicate to them.

I should say that my weakness is listening, more than the others, because it is difficult for me to connect words and undestand the dialogues at the same time. My objective for the future is to improve this skill by watching series in English with English subtitles as a first step. Later I hope to watch the series without the subtitles and understand them. I think this way is the most fun to learn listen to English because I need understand what each characters speak and to understand what happen in the story of the series.

It is important to take this English class as an opportunity because in my career and future job the most of the papers will be writing in English and the publication that I will write in the future must be written in English too. So for this reasons is why I need to improve my English step by step but soon. Shortly I have to write the thesis so I must read a lot of papers in English to understand more the ways to generate my research about the subject that I like.
